Girls Camp

Wow, what a week. I went up to girls camp this
last week. Our theme this year was Boot Camp B.A.B.E which stood for Be A
Believeing Example. The scripture that goes with it is 1 Timothy 4:12 Which
talks about be an example in word, conversation, faith and purity. I loved
it.
Our girls all got along and we were able to play games and hang out as a
ward
and as a stake. It was a blast. We went up tuesday, set up and then got
to know
each other. Wensday was guest night and so we spent the day hanging
out and
getting ready for the bishopric to come up. That night we had a huge
thunderstorm, it was like two or three storms in one. It poored buckets for
like
20-30 minutes. You could hear the storms comeing from three directions
hear them
crash over us and then continue on there way. It was pretty
amazing. Thursday it
rained off and on all day but we had a blast even with
the weather being so
moody. We played more games and started bringing down
camp. We then had a
testimony meeting. Wow, My sister got up there for the
first time and it was so
cool to hear her just say what she new was true. I
don't think I've ever seen so
many girls with the spirit glowing throught
there eyes. It was amazing. I loved
it. That night we decided that 4 of us
would shove in to a 2 man tent to help
stay warm. It worked until about 4:30
in the morning when the dew settled on us.
lol it was a ton of fun. We got
home saftely and I took a long nap and then
showered. I was then able to go
over and be held by my boyfriend which was
really nice. Any way that was
girls camp in a nut shell.
